After 13 years it became apparent that the procrastination should stop and some music should be made! 

Mark met Penny in 1996 at the Whitby Gothic Weekend but in the good old days before the internet and mobile phones were common place, and with Penny in Glasgow and Mark in Leeds, they lost touch fairly soon afterwards. Both went their separate ways, making noises with other goth bands, Mark with 'Dust to Dust' and Penny with 'Stages of Cruelty'.

Meanwhile Mark and Rob had already been friends from working together on the music scene in the north of England. Rob's guitar stylings with bands like 'WORM' and 'The Realm' were well admired by Mr Dreizehn and vice versa and much mutual ego massaging was done!

Finally in 2009 Penny and Mark found each other again through the miracle of social networking - they started work on what was originally meant to be a very trad goth project with Mark on lead guitar and vocal, Penny on bass and Miss Poli Dori on rhythm guitar. After clumsily losing Poli down the back of the sofa they began working as a two piece but it soon became apparent that Penny's vocal was developing the band's sound and they started to look around for a bassist to free up Penny for vocal duty. Captain Anth Williams fitted the bill perfectly and they started gigging as a three piece to rave reviews. Sadly most good things come to an end and after parting company with The Captain they asked Rob Webley to stand in on bass during his breaks between gigs with The Realm.  It worked out so well that they asked him to join on a permanent basis and this is where you find them.....
